Getting younger faster
At 67 years of age, Police Chief Don Corbin of Johnstown, OH is not really getting younger, but he's sure staying fast. And that's enough to keep anyone from getting old.
Each summer the police and fire departments of Ohio meet in a contest they call "The Olympics", where the fastest and the strongest battle one another for bragging rights. Five years ago at age 62, Don Corbin entered and racked up several age group records.
These past two summers Don bumped his training up a notch and returned to take several new age group records.
Pushing Corbin to reach his full potential, [his coach] wouldn't consider less when the chief pulled what he called the "age card." "In writing workouts, it's important to help an individual to reach his potential," [his coach said]. "Don is so capable for anyone of any age.
